The cafeteria of the U.S Department of Health & Human Services' Hubert H. Humphrey building was the first federal food service operation to incorporate the Federal Food Service Guidelines. On average, monthly cafeteria sales increased by 34 percent compared to the same time period in the year before the guidelines were implemented.
